How it all began……
Just a little over 90 days ago a dream was put into motion. A Home Business – Will it Change Your Financial Position in 2009
What are you going to do this new year to change your financial position?
Are you going to work harder at your job to try and get that promotion or raise? Is that even going to be possible considering the economic climate? Are you hanging in until they say “Sorry, we have to let you go” “Sorry, we have to cut back your pay or benefits”?
Are you looking at starting a home business to shore up the deficit in your budget?
Are you longing for more in your life but can’t quite seem to get there?
Let’s face it, I don’t think any of us are entirely happy with our lot in life. There is always something we either need or want. Wouldn’t it be nice to say to say no to our kids because we want to rather than we have to.
I was lucky, I had a successful company and was doing very well. I had a change in my life when I was diagnosed with cancer and a few other little challenges along the way. My life changed dramatically. I survived but the aftermath was ugly. Savings gone, company sold, and I had no idea what my limited strength would allow me to do. No one likes to hire medical risks so I started consulting on a contract basis to get by.
Unlike many who just accept the dismal and dire, I made a decision to change my circumstances and decided to wade into the home business arena . It wasn’t easy as there were so many things to choose from….a kid in a candy store. I soon realized that I did not have all the skills I needed to be successful even though I ran a successful clothing maufacturing and marketing company. I was considered very successful and affluent. I realized there was one huge difference between the corporate brick and mortar world and home business. Now, I am not talking about all the little cottage industries out there, although they face some huge challenges as well. No, I am talking about what 20 million people do everyday…..search the net for a business opportunity….. Network Marketing, Internet work from home opportunites, MLM, Direct Sales…whatever you want to call any of them. What I found is that although there are more millionaires made within this industry, there are many, many more failures. Most of the people I connected with hid behind false promises and a whole lot of smoke and mirrors….the old two hand Monty or Bait and Switch. I realized it was difficult to evaluate opportunities because I could never get the absolute correct information. I realize that there was such a failure rate in home business that almost everyone was compromising their morals and lying about their success….just to try and make back what they lost, what they had invested and needed to recover. I didn’t blame them but I didn’t like it either. I also came to realize that on the opportunity presentation calls when they were stating their income, they forgot to deduct their expenses….they were not being truthful about their “profits”. Most were working their tails off with no profit. They were worse than broke, they were throwing good money after bad.
I think most of these should be .CON instead of .COM or there should be a disclosure….enter at risk to your lively-hood. Oh, and yeah some do have that but the terms and conditios are so hidden, you never see them until it is yoo late!
I know there are good opportunities out there. I am involved with a few now that allow me an excellent living. None of them however offered any real valuable training. That I was left to do on my own and at a considerable cost. I was lucky. I had the time and the money to do that…..do you?
It broke my heart to see what was going on out there. With the Internet, I realized this would be very hard to police and people were getting away with virtual murder. I couldn’t believe what was happening.
At first I decided that with the opportunity I chose, I would help the people I brought in to succeed. First problem, how do I duplicate myself? Second problem, how do I grow my business if I am spending all my time training and aiding. The opportunity that I chose , although it was a good fit for me and a good company, didn’t provide the training . So what could I do….let these poor people die on the vine?
I went along my merry way for a couple of years and put up with the attrition in my business and fell into thinking that was what was happening everywhere so it was something I had to put up with and I couldn’t do anything about or risk my own “profits”. It went totally against my grain as I knew building a business depends on happy satisfied customers and all I was leaving was disillusionment in my wake.
One day a friend and mentor of mine called and we had a big discussion about this. He felt the exact same way and had a plan to try and change what was going on. Oh, it was a pretty ambitious plan to say the least, but I decided I would rather fall on my sword with this then get rich off other poor unknowing souls and jumped right into the deep end.
It has been nothing but astounding. I am so happy and just plain joyous about how this is coming together and how many people have told me it is just what was needed and so many people came on board. I have never seen anything like this before. This is like an alternate universe compared to what I saw in the industry.
It goes without saying that the Law of Attraction did raise up with this because as we went along, our fledgling little idea started to take root, grow and the many voices added to it and now we have a tiger by the tail. Now we have something that is providing a need that was so long not even acknowledged.
What is the best business to be in? A business that finds a void in the marketplace and fills it. Simply put, that is exactly what we have done. I know we are also earning our angel wings. We have a founding committee that deals in fair practices, power to the people, offering their expertise in various aspects of business, all here for you with one core mission…. making you profitable in business, whatever business you decide floats your boat. Maybe you are just trying to find out more about the industry before you put your toe in the water. This will also help you deicde if this is right for you and will allow you to earn while you learn.
I stand proud today. I am happier and I know this little business will grow into a giant as more and more people realize they need this to succeed in their home business.

What determines if you will be successful in your home business or you fail?
To be honest, there will be tons of reasons why you fail but the primary ones will either be that you choose something you are not suitable for, you don’t have the start-up costs, you are clueless about what it will take to be successful.
